May 2023 Newsletter

Wasn’t April full of blessings!  From the deep, profound journey of Holy Week to worshiping and discussing revival with Chuck Girard, strong biblical teaching, confession of faith through baptisms, a baby dedication, and of all things, even a drive-through BBQ!

The Movement – A Righteous Revolution

Pastor Steve Isaac starts a new sermon series on Sun., Apr. 23rd – “The Movement – A Righteous Revolution from the Book of Amos chapter 5 and Book of Joel chapter 2. Amos and Joel are ancient prophets whose voice and message is for our times. Their writing is relative and should resonate within the lives of followers of Christ, and believers everywhere. Nothing in the past 2,500 years has made their messages obsolete.

Tuesday of Holy Week

The Rabbi Jesus found favor with the people, further confounding and infuriating the Pharisees. They did not like this messenger or His message, and so their pride and arrogance kept them from hearing the truth that He taught. They did not want their authority or positions challenged by anyone; particularly someone who was now in the Temple and on the streets claiming to be God. After this day, the Pharisees would no longer just be harmless antagonists or religious critics, they would now become evil conspirators against Jesus – knowing they must stop Him and end the threat to their place of power and piety.

Chuck Girard of Love Song At The Reunion Church

Chuck Girard was a founding member of the band Love Song at Calvary Chapel Church in Costa Mesa, CA, where the Jesus Revolution began. Chuck was dramatically saved, called into ministry, and hasn’t stopped leading others into the Presence of His Savior for a single moment since. Join us on Sunday morning, April 16th, 2023 at 10:30 am as Chuck and the Reunion Worship Band lead us in joyful worship, and Dr. Steve Isaac delivers a powerful message from God’s Word at our non-denominational church in Peoria AZ.

April 2023 Newsletter

In April, we have wonderful, life-impacting opportunities to celebrate, grow in faith, and minister to those around us. Anticipation is building as we grow closer to Holy Week and the opportunity to retrace the final earthly footsteps of Jesus. The Holy Week Journey that the Reunion Church embarks on together is such a high point each year – a profound, intimate time with our Lord and deep, meaningful fellowship with one another. Our Holy Week gatherings allow us to create opportunity to share in the journey of Jesus as He deliberately moved towards the cross to save us.

Living in the 521

Pastor Steve Isaac continues to unfold the God-given vision for 2023. The message is titled “Living in the 521”, and revolves around Matthew 25:14-30, known as the Parable of the Talents. The Master gives talents (5, 2, and 1) to three different servants each according to their skill and ability – and then he goes away. His return, response, and expectations are uniquely significant, and entirely relevant to us in real time as we look forward to 2023 for the Reunion Church.

Enlarging the Tents and Stretching Out the Curtains

Pastor Steve expands on the God-given vision for 2023. Week two of the “2023 for the Reunion Church” series is titled “Enlarging the Tents and Stretching Out the Curtains.” The message is based on Isaiah 54:1-3 where God gives a message to Jerusalem about the need to enlarge, stretch, and strengthen in preparation for blessing and expansion. The same is true for God’s plans for the Reunion Church in 2023.

2023 For The Reunion Church

I want to share a brief snippet of what the Lord has graciously given me to share. During my prayer and quiet time over the last two months of 2022, the Lord began to “Holy Spirit download” the vision template of 2023 for the Reunion Church. This template came with both clarity and confirmation from within and without. Meaning simply that God used visible signs, trusted relationships, solid foundations from the past, and most importantly, the sudden impact of the living and written Word of God.
