So much of our national conversation is filled with divisiveness and hatred. As believers, we are called to be the salt that prevents decay and the light that dispels darkness. We can’t allow ourselves to respond to disrespect or hate with disrespect or hate. Having right responses requires having right attitudes, which begin with what we allow our thoughts to dwell on. The Apostle Paul reminds us to guard our thoughts so we can control our tongues. Let’s effectively be a witness to the love and hope of our Lord today.
