A thriving growing community filled with the life and love of God and one another; mobilized and moved by the power of the Holy Spirit to do a good work, while maximizing the 521 mission by multiplying the gifts and calling given to us for 2018.
2 Corinthians 9:8-9
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
Philippians 1:6-7
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:9-13
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
Introduction
If this sounds to you like a New Year’s resolution for the community at Reunion, then you are correct – but only partly correct. Let me explain. Yes, it is a resolution but in the deeper context of being resolute or resolved. Resolute and resolved to be the best version of ourselves that we have ever been – that is. However not just for the sake being and doing our best, but rather for the sake of being our best and doing our best because God has given to us – His best. We at Reunion have been given many gifts and have heard and accepted the mission of the 521 as our own. We believe that 2018 will be a year of taking what we have blessed with and multiplying it for the purposes and plans that God has fully intended. What God has given to Reunion, and to the families and friends of our community here is also intended for and needed by many others – most we do not even know yet. 2018 is the time that Reunion maximizes and multiplies its gifts and talents! Some may ask, “What are the gifts and talents of Reunion?” I’m delighted that you hypothetically asked!
We Have Love – From the beginning we have loved, not perfectly, but with perfect love. This love for God and one another has always been our greatest gift and our highest calling. This is the reason we are here today – love God and to love each other.
We Have Truth – God has given us the deep desire to seek and know His Word – His Word is eternal truth. In our journey of faith we this desire to seek and know truth sets us free from hate, hurt, hostility and the condemnation of sin. We teach His truth.
We Have Fellowship, Communion, and Prayer – These gifts unite, welcome and include all kinds of people from all kinds of life, both good and bad. This is how we care and show our love – by welcoming, uniting, and including all kinds of people into fellowship, communion, and prayer. One of the more significant gifts we have been given to share with one another is prayer. When I think of you I pray…
We Have the Heart of Worship – A constant comfort and joy is our worship and song. This is the melody and harmony of praise and intimacy that goes far beyond lyrics, rhythms, and notes. It is our creative expression of love, gratitude, and honor to God. It is our soul longing for our Creator, and the connection between heaven and earth.

Habakkuk 2:2-3
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
